Giving back to OUR Community

"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." – Coretta Scott King

As a Not-for-profit community club, Rowers on Cooks River is passionate about dedicating time and resources back into the heart of the organisation; the surrounding community.

Through our programs and donations, Rowers on Cooks River aims to educate, engage, nurture and inspire individuals and groups to establish strong networks and strengthen community support.

If you would like to approach us regarding potential sponsorship or support, please call us on (02) 9599 1932 or email us at community@rowersoncooksriver.com.au

Club Grants

ClubGRANTS is designed to ensure that larger clubs contribute to the provision of front-line services for their local communities; and to ensure that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs.

Giving back to the community is in every local club’s DNA – it’s the reason why clubs exist.

Each year through ClubGRANTS, clubs across NSW provide support to tens of thousands of local community organisations, sporting groups, and charities that make a difference in their local area.

Applying for ClubGRANTS funding is quick and easy. To be eligible to apply, you must be a not-for-profit organisation and provide the following project and/or services:

Category 1
Funding for specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities; and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Category 2
Funding for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport.
